What is the bridges to housing program?

The TLC Bridges to Housing program is an innovative approach to housing based on a Housing First model of homelessness services delivery and a Trauma-Informed Care model of practice, all supported on a foundation of caring.

Guided by a case manager, each TLC participant or household engages in a program comprised of four main components:

  • Individualized Housing Plan (IHP)

  • Budgeting

  • Life Long Learning Classes

  • Caring, Safe and Supportive Community

Each component of the TLC program can be combined in different ways, as needed, to meet the individual needs of participants to support them in achieving their goals of obtaining permanent housing and self-sufficiency

"Caring has been at the heart of everything we do for over 25 years and with your support that tradition will continue for as long as there are those in need in our community."
