Meet the staff

Marge Mowrer

Hi, my name is Marge and I have worked with Tabor/TLC for 8 years in 2 different Rapid Rehousing programs; one for all populations, and most recently a program called Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) that focuses on individual veterans as well as veteran households. I am a native of Lancaster County and have lived here most of my life except when I lived out of state while serving with the United States Navy in the mid-1990s. I also spent 12 years in the private sector employed by a local defense contractor where I built prototypes of aerial communication devices. When I am not working I enjoy hiking, backpacking, water sports, hanging out with family and friends, and the company of my dog Dakoda and my cat Emma.

Marisa Sherts

Hi, my name is Marisa Sherts and I am the case manager for Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF). I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Millersville University. Prior to working at TLC, I was in child welfare offering reunification and family preservation services for families involved with Children and Youth in Lehigh and Northampton Counties (PA). Most recently, I worked with adults who have intellectual disabilities as a Volunteer Coordinator taking the individuals to volunteer places to establish work and social skills in the community all throughout Lancaster County. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, kayaking with my husband, Jonathan and playing with my two cats, Petey and Vivienne.

Guy Boyer

Started my career as a Probation Officer in 1975 at 53 N. Duke St. In 1980, began a 30 year joyride as a Civics, Government, Sociology teacher at Warwick High School In Lititz. Retired from education in 2010 and returned 1/2 block from where it all started…to TLC. As the Community Homeless Outreach Worker for Lancaster County, spend most of my time walking the streets, visiting parks and service providers, connecting with those most needy…the literally homeless. Love the leadership, cohesiveness and professionalism of the staff at TLC.
