"We stand with our neighbors"
This more than just a statement, as it is a call to act. One of the many ways we do that at TLC/Veterans’ Victory House Lancasteris to support our Veterans. TLC/Veterans’ Victory House Lancaster is a program of Tabor Community Services, Inc.
I would like to update our Veterans programming and services at the Veterans' Victory House (VVH) and offer you an immediate and ongoing way to support us. At the current time, we are temporarily housing 18 Veteran households, men, women and families, experiencing homelessness in the VVH and assisting another 16 families and individuals, in our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program (SSVF). Over the last year over 100 Veterans families and individuals have been assisted in regaining or obtaining permanent housing through these programs. We stand by our Veterans, but more importantly we thank you, our TLC friends and neighbors for standing by us with your generous support in giving of your time, talents and treasures to TLC. If you would like to support us please join us tonight at Tellus 360, for the Ground Hog Give, supporting TLC/Veterans’ Victory House Lancaster. If you cannot make it but want to help please go to www.tlclancaster.org to donate.
At TLC, we provide opportunity and offer assistance to those seeking it. Whether it be those experiencing homelessness through poverty, addiction, eviction, a bump in life’s road—Veterans, individuals and families, all genders and races, if we have the room and one desires help out of homelessness, we offer it, we stand by our neighbors and will continue to do so, as long as there is the need.
We thank you for standing by and supporting us. We also thank the many great community benefit organizations and volunteers, many of our partners, working on so many important issues in our community. This allows us to stand by our neighbors experiencing homelessness and provide them the opportunity to move back into permanent housing and contribute to our great community.
