A big, big thank you, to all who participated in the 9th Annual Empty Bowls event at the Lancaster Creative Factory (LCF) at 560 South Prince.
Once again the LCF teamed up with TLC, the fantastic volunteers, potters, restaurants, and establishments that donated soup and the over 325 folks that came out on a beautiful Sunday to raise over $14,000.
We also want to thank Member’s 1st, who sponsored our coffee maker, The Good Cuppa. The band, Easily Amused, doubling also as our auctioneer, was phenomenal as always. Everyone walked away full of soup and the great feeling of having had a good time, meeting new folks and learning more about the two great community benefits organizations.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the auction of beautiful handcrafted items, which helped pay security deposit/rent for a veteran family moving out of TLC into their own place.
Thank you to:
