Today the Lancaster Barracks had their official grand opening today at 455 Fremont Avenue in Lancaster. The house was a collaboration of many private and public entities. The house was an idea conceived out of a group of folks from the Veteran’s Court team in Lancaster and had partners such as the Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (LHOP), Community Action Plan (CAP) and private local contractors that supplied HVAC, windows, flooring etc.
One of the coolest parts of the project is that Joe Deem, former Veterans’ Victory House and Veteran’s Court participant, who successfully graduated did the electrical work for the building. He is pictured here next to his sign. If you need or know of someone that needs any electrical work done, please reach out to him.

It is believed that this is the 1st such house completed in conjunction with Veteran’s Court in the country. Another giant congratulations to Lancaster and its tremendous support of its Veterans.
